| S.V. LADYHAWK is widely acknowledged to be one of the loveliest and most unique vessels in Puget Sound. Gary and Barbara found her in Denmark, completely restored her and converted her for use as a yacht, then sailed her across the Atlantic Ocean themselves and through the Panama Canal to bring her home to the US West Coast. They lived aboard full time for many years afterwards, cruising the waters of the Inland Passage and the Sound, until recently building a home and moving ashore in Port Townsend, WA. As the example in the second photo shows, LADYHAWK abounds with Gary's talented touch, from the wood carvings to the beautiful etched glass windows in her main saloon. |
